Larvov: withdrawal of Syrian chemical arsenals proceeds successfully

MOSCOW, January 17. /ITAR-TASS/. The process to withdraw chemical weapons from Syria proceeds successfully on the whole, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday after talks with his Syrian counterpart Walid Muallem.

“Despite attempts to find some reasons to impede the operation for the withdrawal of chemical weapons from Syria, it proceeds successfully on the whole,” the Russian foreign minister said.
