MOSCOW, January 16. /ITAR-TASS/. Iran and Saudi Arabia should by all means participate in the Geneva II conference on the Syrian conflict settlement, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said after talks with his Iranian counterpart on Thursday.

“I hope that the invitations will be timely extended and all the participants will get such an opportunity (to take part in the conference),” Lavrov said.
