KIEV, January 15. /ITAR-TASS/. Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov has instructed to prepare Ukraine’s position on conditions for implementing the Association Agreement with the European Union within two months.
Speaking at a government session on Wednesday, Azarov said, “The budget and the economic development in Ukraine are linked with our economic interests on the European track.”
“An inter-departmental working group led by Vice-Premier Yuri Boyko is instructed to conduct an analysis within two months in order to work out Ukraine’s position on conditions for implementing the Association Agreement,” the premier said.
Ministries and agencies, which are responsible for this task, “conducted a preliminary analysis of risks to the economy while creating a free trade zone with the European Union”, he said.
A week ago the Azarov-led government set the task to start practical talks with the EU to sign the Association Agreement and a free trade zone deal.
