MOSCOW, January 13. /ITAR-TASS/. Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif, who will arrive in Moscow on a visit on January 15, is expected to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei for talks on key regional and international issues, the Iranian Embassy in Moscow reported on Monday.
“In response to the Russian foreign minister’s visit to Iran Javad Zarif will visit Moscow on January 15 for consultations on the agreements, which were reached by the presidents of both countries,” the embassy reported.
“During the visit, the Iranian foreign minister will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. The parties will exchange views on key regional and international issues,” it said.
Zarif will confer with “Russian intellectuals” and take part in a news conference jointly with Lavrov, the embassy said.
