PARIS, January 13, /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry have started talks at the U.S. Embassy in Paris.
Kerry said he had talked with Lavrov several weeks ago and planned to discuss Syria.
The talks are being held behind closed doors. U.N./LAS Special Envoy for Syria Lakhdar Brahimi will join them later.
Ealier, Lavrov met with the leader of Syria’s National Coalition of Opposition and Revolutionary Forces, Ahmad al-Jarba.
