BISHKEK, January 13. /ITAR-TASS/. Kyrgyzstan hopes that a border incident with Tajikistan will be investigated objectively, the Foreign Ministry reported on Monday.
“We hope that Tajikistan will show political will and take a constructive approach to investigate the incident objectively,” the report says.
On January 11, Kyrgyz and Tajik border guards exchanged gunfire near the settlement of Ak-Sai, Batken district. Six Kyrgyz people have been injured during the incident and two of them are in critical condition.
