MOSCOW, January 09. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Foreign Ministry Commissioner for Human Rights, Democracy and the Supremacy of Law Konstantin Dolgov told Itar-Tass that he intended to visit the Guantanamo prison on January 17.
“Earlier, the U.S. informed us about it,” Dolgov said, adding “We’re waiting for information on organisational elements of the visit.
The Russian Foreign Ministry reported at the end of December that Dolgov was planning to the visit the American military prison and meet Russian prisoner Ravil Mingazov.
The United States said there was no such information.
