Russia-Senegal talks on Russian fishing vessel release postponed until January 8

On Wednesday, Russian officials would continue to work with the Senegalese authorities, Rosrybolovstvo noted

MOSCOW, January 08, 5:17 /ITAR-TASS/. Negotiations of the Russian delegation and the Senegalese authorities on the release of the Oleg Naidenov trawler fishing trawler have been postponed until January 8, the press centre of Russia’s Federal Fisheries Agency (Rosrybolovstvo) told Itar-Tass. The meeting had been previously scheduled for the morning of January 7, and then was postponed till the evening.

However, negotiations between the Russian delegation and the Senegalese authorities have not been held yet. “The meeting has not been held. Apparently, the Senegalese side has been unable to develop a stance,” the agency said.
