Media: Challenger 600 plane crashes in Colorado, one dies, two injured

NEW YORK, January 06, 4:16 /ITAR-TASS/. A Challenger 600 plane has crashed in Colorado. The ABC television network reported on Sunday that the plane had crashed while landing at the airport of Aspen. One person died in the crash and two were injured.

Eyewitnesses said the plane was a private one. There were not more than three persons on board the plane, ABC pointed out.

Firemen and medical teams arrived at the scene several minutes after the crash. The causes of the crash are bring ascertained.

A popular US mountain skiing resory is located near the city of Aspen.
