Lavrov, Egyptian foreign minister discuss Geneva II Peace Conference

MOSCOW, December 25. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had a telephone conversation with Egyptian counterpart Nabil Fahmy on Wednesday to discuss relations between Russia and Egypt and preparations for the Geneva II Peace Conference.

“Lavrov and Fahmy exchanged views on key regional issues, including the situation in Syria within the context of the convocation of the Geneva II Peace Conference on January 22, 2014,” the Foreign Ministry reported.
