Magrvelashvili: Economic relations with Russia help discussing political issues

TBILISI, December 23. /ITAR-TASS/. President Georgy Magrvelashvili said the restoration and development of trade and economic relations between Georgia and Russia would create conditions for discussing complicated political issues.

“Trade and economic relations are being gradually improved. This year export of Georgian wines and mineral water has been resumed,” the Georgian president said on Monday.

“This creates conditions for starting discussions on political issues and taking concrete steps towards de-escalating the situation and creating a calm and stable climate in relations between both countries,” Margvelashvili said.
