ASTANA, December 23. /ITAR-TASS/. Kazakh Deputy Agriculture Minister Muslim Umiryaev is detained on suspicion on taking a bribe, the republic's financial police reported on Monday.

Umiryaev is suspected of taking a $100,000 bribe from a businessman for assistance to win state purchase contests.

A criminal case is opened against the official.
