KIEV, December 19. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine is working on creating “transparent conditions” for ensuring the access of partners to the Ukrainian gas transport system”, President Viktor Yanukovich told mass media on Thursday.
The evaluation carried out by international auditors “opened the way” for further talks on creating a consortium to manage it, the president said.
“There is a subject for talks and the way is opened,” he added.
The talks on the gas transport system are being held for 10 years, Yanukovich said, adding “Any state protects its national interests and there is always a compromise when anyone concedes anything.
