KIEV, December 16, 5:06 /ITAR-TASS/. Andrei Magera, Chairman of Ukraine's Central Electoral Commission (CEC) told a briefing on Sunday that 48.39 percent of the electorate had taken part in the repeat elections to the Vekhovna Rada in five "problem" districts.
Magera said the highest voter turnout was in District 98 in Kiev Region (61.95%). Voter turnout was also active in Nikolayev Region. In District 132 in the city of Pervomaisk, the repeat polling involved about 50% of citizens of age.
Over 46% of voters turned out at Kiev's District 223.
