Russian, US diplomats discuss security in Europe

MOSCOW, December 09. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Yuri Meshkov and U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland met in Moscow on Monday, December 9, to discuss security architecture in Europe.

The diplomats discussed “practical aspects of relations between our countries in Europe, including in the Russia-NATO Council, the OSCE and other multilateral formats,” the Foreign Ministry said.

“They had a detailed exchange of opinions on the creation of long-term security architecture and cooperation climate in Europe,” the ministry said.
