KIEV, December 09. /ITAR-TASS/. Over the past night in central Kiev, the protesters made new barricades and put up several new tents. At the cross of Bogdan Khmelnitsky and Kreshchatik streets the barricade was made of benches from neighboring boulevard, from concrete flower pots and metal bars.

About 1,500 protesters remain at Independence Square (Maidan Nezalezhnosti). They spent the night there, warming up by fires and dancing accompanied by Ukrainian musicians.

At dawn, about a hundred protesters came to the government’s building in Grushevskogo street to replace those who had spent the night there. The fresh forces brought with them metal screens to enforce the barricade put up on Sunday. By the governmental building, they warm up themselves by fires in barrels.

Since Sunday, the police have chained the governmental block. On Monday, the government usually has a seating without media. As yet it is not clear, whether the meeting will take place this time.
