Protesters in Kiev set up public self-government committee

KIEV, December 06. /ITAR-TASS/. Protesters in Kiev set up a public self-government committee in the building of the Kiev City Council, which they are occupying.

“This committee is called upon to control the situation in the capital and the duly performance of duties by city agencies,” the press service of the Fatherland party said Friday.

A steering group of the public committee has been set up and it includes MPs Vladimir Bondarenko, Andrei Ilyenko and Natalya Novak.

The names of committee members will be announced Saturday, December 7.
