BEIJING, December 05. /ITAR-TASS/. The visit of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich to China is going according to the plan, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.
“The visit schedule for Thursday has not been changed,” the ministry noted.
Yanukovich, who is on a state visit to China, on Thursday afternoon will hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping and meet with Premier of the Chinese State Council Li Keqiang.
According to previous reports of Ukraine’s UNIAN news agency, leader of the UDAR (Ukrainian Democratic Alliance for Reform) party Vitali Klitschko stated that the Ukrainian opposition had requested the Chinese leadership not to hold meetings with Viktor Yanukovich.
