Belarus leader orders diplomats to help promote national exports

MINSK, December 03. /ITAR-TASS/. Belorussian President Alexander Lukashenko tasked the Belorussian diplomatic missions on Tuesday with promoting Belarusian products to increase hard currency revenue to the country.

"Politics is politics but exports are a priority in our foreign economic activity," he said.

"Belarus needs politics to represent the country and protect its interests. The rest is trade, exports. It is number one task," Lukashenko said.

The president underlined that Minsk expected positive work with neighboring countries despite occasional difficulties in relations.
