Verkhovna Rada not to meet for evening session over lack of readiness for compromise

KIEV, December 03. /ITAR-TASS/. The evening session of Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada (parliament) will not take place because the lawmakers “are not completely ready to take decisions,” leader of the ruling Party of Regions’ faction Alexander Yefremov told journalists on Tuesday.

“There is no point in continuing the work, since neither of the parties is ready for compromise,” he said. “It is necessary to work out some common agreements on the Verkhovna Rada’s further work. If the opposition has any proposals, they will be considered, I only wish they are constructive.
