KIEV, December 03. /ITAR-TASS/. The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament, failed to pass a motion of no confidence to the government headed by Nikolai Azarov. As many as 186 deputies voted for the no confidence motion with 226 votes required for passing it.
The deputies from the ruling Party of Regions did not vote for dismissal of the government as was expected. The Communists and several lawmakers, who are not the members of any factions, did not support the oppositional motion.
