About 3,000 people continue peaceful action at parliament’s building in Ukraine

Protesters try to talk with policemen, who encircle the parliament’s building

KIEV, December 03. /ITAR-TASS/. About 3,000 people, who support Ukraine’s European integration, continue an action at the parliament’s building and urge the Ukrainian government to resign.

Protesters say this is a peace action. They urge the gathering not to yield to provocations. Protesters try to talk with policemen, who encircle the parliament’s building. However, their attempts are abortive.

About 200 people take part in a rally near the government’s building. The situation is calm.

About 1,000 people have gathered on Independence Square and Kreshchatyk, Kiev’s main street. In front of Independence Square supporters of European integration build a tent town.

Totally, protesters “coexist” with protesters. Sometimes policemen control road traffic.
