China seeks to keep balance between reforms and stability

MOSCOW, December 03. /ITAR-TASS/. China intends to keep balance between reforms and stability in order to implement measures for further development of the country, Chinese Ambassador to Russia Li Hui told a news conference on Tuesday.

The major purpose of the November 9-13 plenary session of the Central Committee of China Communist Party was to take steps towards strengthening reforms, primarily in the economy, Li Hui said.

“Thus, we’ll be able to achieve a new success and create a civilized and modernized socialist state. This is a dream, but it can be realized,” the Chinese ambassador said.

“The key goal is to defend the party’s leading role. It is necessary to give up stagnation and vicious ways to change the course. It is necessary to follow the way of Socialism with Chinese specifics,” Li Hui said.
