BANGKOK, December 01, 10:23 /ITAR-TASS/. The opposition forces succeeded to break through the police cordons and capture the territory around the building housing the Thai Interior Ministry in Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, on Sunday.

During the capturing the eyewitnesses said that a policeman, who guarded the Interior Ministry, was injured. One of the leaders of the opposition, who led the operation, called on his supporters not to enter the building and stay outside.

The demonstrators pursue the goal to capture the main governmental facilities, paralyzing their work.

The Thai Interior Ministry does not rule the police, but coordinates the executive authorities.
