Lithuania urges Ukrainian govt to stop using force against demonstrators

VILNIUS, November 30, 15:43 /ITAR-TASS/. Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius has urged the Ukrainian authorities to stop using force against demonstrators.

“The EU is watching the situation and if the authorities continue using force against demonstrators, the European community will make resolute steps on its part,” he said.

Lithuania is holding the EU’s rotating presidency at the moment.
