VILNIUS, November 28, 15:25 /ITAR-TASS/. The European Union is set to continue dialogue with Ukraine on an association agreement, Prime Minister of Lithuania that is presiding over the EU Council Algirdas Butkevicius said at a meeting with Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Arbuzov on Thursday.
“We regret that this document will not be signed at the Eastern Partnership summit. Nevertheless, the European Union is set to continue dialogue on this issue,” he said.
Butkevicius and Arbuzov discussed the state of trade and economic cooperation between Lithuania and Ukraine and stressed common interest in boosting these relations, in particular through the creation of a common energy space and development of a transport corridor between the Baltic and Black seas.
