Belarus interested in integration with Russia's industrial military industry sector

MINSK, November 27.  /ITAR-TASS/. Minsk is interested in integration projects with Russia in the military industrial sector, head of the Belarusian state committee for military industry Sergei Gurulev said on Wednesday.

The processes to unite efforts are needed to improve production, he told reporters, adding that financial, economic, scientific and technical efforts should be united.

Gurulev said the Minsk wheeled tractor plant, Peleng and Integral participated in the integration projects.

Military technical cooperation switched from export-import operations to introduction of new innovation technologies and developments in Belarus, he noted.

In the system of the Belarusian state military industry committee are 23 main defense industrial plants and organizations employing about 15,000 people.
