TRIESTE, November 26, 21:35 /ITAR-TASS/. Agreements on the Iranian nuclear programme will promote stability in the entire region, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday.
“I am sure the resolution on the Iranian nuclear programme will have a positive effect on security and stability in the entire Middle East, including Israel,” he said at a news conference after the Russian-Italian interstate consultations.
Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta also spoke in support of agreements on that matter. “As concerns Iran, we expressed our satisfaction and the hope that the results reached in the area of nuclear energy might open a new season in Iran’s relations with the international community,” he said. “We want to work in this area. We plan to do it jointly with Russia.
