BERLIN, November 23, 14:31 /ITAR-TASS/. European Union’s willingness to promote dialogue with East-European countries does not aim to do damage to Russia, Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel said in a weekly video address released Saturday.

“We can see right now that the Russian side perceives the participation of other countries in the Eastern partnership program and their agreements on association with the EU as something aimed at doing damage to it but this is not so,” the address said.
