Moscow hails Ukraine’s decision to improve, develop trade with Russia

Putin's press secretary: Russian President has laid out our position quite clearly, ready for trilateral talks

NOVO-OGARYOVO, November 21. /ITAR-TASS/. Moscow hails Ukraine’s willingness to improve and promote trade and economic collaboration with Russia, Dmitry Peskov, the presidential press secretary told reporters Thursday.

“Russian President has laid out our position quite clearly and it stipulates our readiness for trilateral negotiations from angle of view of working out and perfecting the modality of our trade and economic cooperation,” Peskov said.

He also said that Ukraine’s decision to suspend the talks on forming an association with the EU clearly falls into the realm of domestic affairs of that country and the Russian side is not going to make any comments on it.

Along with it, Peskov indicated that contacts between Russia and Ukraine at the level of experts will be resumed.
