WARSAW, November 21. /ITAR-TASS/. Forty activists of the international environmental organization Greenpeace were detained by the Warsaw police on Thursday. They put on the facade of the Palace of Culture and Science a banner saying “Save the Arctic, release our activists”.
“Police detained today 40 people that were brought to precincts. Some of them investigations are interrogated in the building of the Palace of Culture and Science. Law enforcement authorities don’t rule out that the act’s participants may face charges of trespass on the premises,” police spokesperson said.
