RF, Israel call for speediest end to bloodshed in Syria, support Geneva talks

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for stopping the bloodshed in Syria as soon as possible

MOSCOW, November 20, 22:23 /ITAR-TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for stopping the bloodshed in Syria as soon as possible and supported plans to hold an international conference on Syria, known as Geneva II.

“We call for the speediest end to the bloodshed in Syria and hope for a continuation of talks in Geneva,” Putin said after talks with Netanyahu.
