Bomb blast hits Damascus suburbs, fatalities reported

Eyewitnesses say the terrorists managed to place explosives in underground utilities

BEIRUT, 17 November. /ITAR-TASS /. A powerful bomb exploded on Sunday near the administerial office of the Syrian army in the capital's suburb of Haraszti. According to preliminary reports, there were killed and wounded among the military and civilians. As eyewitnesses told ITAR-TASS, the terrorists managed to place explosives in underground utilities.

Previously, the capital came under mortar fire. At least ten shells exploded in the Abbasids square and in the Tidzhara  and Qasaa blocks. There have been also victims reported; their number is being specified. More than 20 shells, according to El Khabar TV outlet, hit the eastern parts of the city.
