MOSCOW, November 15, (ITAR-TASS) - The Russian president’s special envoy to the Middle East, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov has had a telephone conversation with UK Foreign Office political director Simon Gass, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
“The diplomats discussed the situation in Syria and around it in the light of the soonest possible convocation of an international conference Geneva II and some other humanitarian aspects of the Syrian crisis,” the ministry said.
“They agreed to continue regular exchange of opinions on Syria and other pressing issues on the Middle East agenda,” the ministry said.
