Russian woman dies, five people injured in traffic accident in Thailand

BANGKOK, November 9 (Itar-Tass) - A Russian woman died and five Russian citizens were injured in a traffic accident in Thailand's resort of Pattaya, a source at the Russian Embassy in the country told Itar-Tass.

A 37-year-old woman died. One man is in serious condition in a hospital. Other four Russians were slightly injured. There is information about a seventh injured person, and it will be found out, the source said, adding that the embassy made inquires to establish the identities of the people.

The accident occurred on the Pattaya embankment on Friday evening. A German citizen lost control of his car and collided with another car, which struck the taxi, in which the Russians were. The driver is detained by police.
