WASHINGTON, October 19 (Itar-Tass) - The United States has begun to curtail operations at the Manas base in Kyrgyzstan, which has been used for years to support the international coalition’s operation in Afghanistan, the Pentagon said on Friday.

The United States plans to complete the transfer of the base by July 2014.
