MOSCOW, October 17 (Itar-Tass) - Solemn events will be held at the Russian Foreign Ministry on October 23 timed to the 70th anniversary of the 1943 Moscow Conference, Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said.
“One of the results of the Moscow Conference was the Declaration on Universal Security, which had become an important step towards creating the United Nations Organisation,” the Russian diplomat said.
The events will involve Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, heads of several agencies, representatives of public organisations, scientists and veterans of the diplomatic service.
