MOSCOW, October 14 (Itar-Tass) - Famous Russian film director Andrei Konchalovsky has got in a road accident in France. He was not injured in the road accident, but his daughter is being treated at the intensive therapy ward, Konchalovsky’s producing centre reported on Monday.
“Unfortunately, this is true,” the press service of the producing company said, adding that the road accident occurred on October 12.
“Andrei Konchalovsky lost control of the wheel and got in a road accident in France,” the producing centre reported. “His car has got in a head-on collision with a car on the oncoming lane,” the producing centre said.
Maria Mikhalkova-Konchalovskaya, daughter of Andrei Konchalovsky and Yulia Vysotskaya, was heavily injured in the road accident. “At the present moment she is being cured at the intensive therapy ward at the hospital in France. Andrei Konchalovsky and Yulia Vysotskaya are staying with Maria,” the press service added.
Other participants in the road accident have got slight injuries not dangerous for life.
