MOSCOW, October 8 (Itar-Tass) - The construction of new U.S. and NATO military bases in Afghanistan to be used after the withdrawal of the international coalition forces triggers questions, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview with the Russia Today television channel on Tuesday.

“There are serious worries that the Afghan authorities would not be able to ensure security in the country after the withdrawal of the international coalition forces,” he noted.
