Putin instructs Russian Foreign Ministry to sign border treaty with Estonia

The Russian-Estonian consultations were started in late 2012

MOSCOW, October 7 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has endorsed the proposal of the government of the Russian Federation to sign the Treaty between Russia and Estonia on the Russian-Estonian State Border and the bilateral agreement on delimitation of sea areas in the Narva Bay and the Gulf of Finland. The Russian president’s decree is published on the official website on legal information on Monday.

The Russian-Estonian consultations to conclude a new border treaty were started in late 2012. The Estonian government endorsed the draft treaties in May 2013.
