TEHRAN, October 6 (Itar-Tass) - Iran will do its best to make the United States to recognise the Iranian people’s right to the nuclear programme, Foreign Minister Mohammad Zarif told local television on Sunday.
“It is very important for us to make the world to realise that Iran’s nuclear programme pursues peaceful goals,” Zarif said.
Commenting on the meeting between Iran and the Sextet (six international mediators on the settlement of the Iranian nuclear problem), the minister said, “At present, trust is being formed between the parties.”
The previous plan on Iran’s nuclear programme “went to the past”. “Now it is necessary to search for new approaches,” Zarif said.
At the same time, he said the consultations should be held to solve the problem. “We feel that final results can be yielded within one year,” he added.
