UNITED NATIONS, September 26 (Itar-Tass) - The United Nations Security Council has adopted the first in its history resolution concerning illicit trade in small arms and light weapons.

Fourteen member countries of the United Nations Security Council voted in favour of this resolution on Thursday. Russia abstained.
