MOSCOW, September 17 (Itar-Tass) - French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius has invited Russia to act as a co-organizer of an international conference on climate change in Paris at the end of 2015.
“Decisions that should be taken amid climate change and air pollution are on the agenda. At the end of 2015 Paris will host a large-scale international conference on climate change. We have invited our Russian counterparts to join efforts in preparing the event,” he said after talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on Tuesday.
“It would be good to do this together. I know there is interest in such cooperation,” he said.
