UNITED NATIONS, September 12 (Itar-Tass) - A U.N. chemical weapons report will be made public on Monday, September 16. It is supposed to confirm the fact that chemical weapons were used in a Damascus outskirt on August 21, a diplomatic source at the United Nations headquarters told Itar-Tass on Thursday.

The source said that the report would confirm that nervous gas sarin had been used in Syria. He emphasized that the United Nations secretariat had briefed the U.N. Security Council members on the results of inspectors’ work during informal consultations.
