ASTANA, September 12 (Itar-Tass) - President Nursultan Nazarbayev said cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia could serve an example for other countries.
At the meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Thursday, Nazarbayev said, “Kazakhstan and Russia develop relations at a high level. This is the merit of the foreign ministries and the embassies of both countries.”
Kazakhstani president congratulated the Russian foreign minister on the success of the G20 summit.
Lavrov told Nazarbayev about the talks with Kazakhstani Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrisov that focused on further strengthening of bilateral cooperation. The ministers determined concrete steps, including to prepare the Russia-Kazakhstan summit, the Kazakhstani Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
