Iranian parl delegation arrives in Syria to express solidarity

Tehran is against any armed attacks and unleashing of a war against Syria

TEHRAN, September 1 (Itar-Tass) - The visit of an Iranian parliament delegation is one more occasion to express Tehran' support for Syrian people in its opposition to aggression, the Iranian Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Committee's Head Alaeddin Boroujerdi said after the meeting with Syrian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Jihad al-Laham.

Tehran is against any armed attacks and unleashing of a war against Syria, Boroujerdi noted. His words were cited by IRNA on Sunday.

The delegation arrived in Damascus to express solidarity with Syrian people and discuss with the country's leaders ways out of the present crisis, he said.
