MOSCOW, August 16 (Itar-Tass) - The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviation) has told airlines they must work fast to develop measures to evacuate passengers from Egypt if circumstances demand they leave, an agency statement said.
Rosaviation is urging airlines to work out a plan of alternative evacuation of passengers if flights from airports of Cairo, Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada are impossible.
In worsening conditions, the Russian Foreign Ministry has recommended Russian citizens not to visit Egypt. Rosaviation says airlines should keep the recommendation in mind when planning flights to Egyptian airports.
