KIEV, August 5 (Itar-Tass) - Kiev police has opened criminal proceedings over the desecration of the Ukrainian flag by Bloodhound Gang musician during a tour in Kiev, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry’s chief directorate in Kiev said.

Police said, referring to media reports: “One of the musicians desecrated the state symbol during a show in Kiev on July 30, thus violating public order and expressing disrespect towards Ukrainian society as a whole.”

A pre-trial investigation had been launched, the press service said.
