Russian EMERCOM’s Be-200 leaves for Serbia to help fight fires

The Russian aircraft will be based in Nis and it will work in Serbia for two months

MOSCOW, August 5 (Itar-Tass) - The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry’s Be-200 amphibious aircraft will help Serbia fight wildfires, the ministry’s spokesperson, Irina Rossius, told Itar-Tass.

“In compliance with the agreement Russia and Serbia will create a humanitarian centre. The Russian Be-200 aircraft left for Serbia to fight wildfires,” the spokesperson said.

The Russian aircraft will be based in Nis and it will work in Serbia for two months.
