MOSCOW, July 4 (Itar-Tass) - An An-148 jet of the Russian emergencies ministry has evacuated two Russians injured in a road accident in Israel for further treatment in Russia, the Russian emergencies ministry’s spokeswoman, Irina Rossius, told Itar-Tass on Thursday.
The two Russian citizens were vacationing in Egypt. “A 39-year-old man had his spine broken in a car accident after unidentified gunmen had opened fire at a tourist microbus causing it to overturn. The man was evacuated from Egypt to Israel,” Rossius said. A 30-year-old Russian woman had also suffered in a road accident in Egypt from where she was rushed to a University clinic in Jerusalem, she added.
“The An-148 plane that arrived in Israel on Wednesday, on Thursday took the woman for further treatment to St. Petersburg, and the man - to Moscow,” Rossius noted.
